How to Submit a Post on HereIm
We welcome contributions of bioimage analysis tools to be showcased on HereIm, a platform dedicated to promoting practical and accessible solutions in biological image analysis. To submit your tool, please provide the following:
1. Your Profile
- Full name(s)
- Affiliation(s)
- Contact email
- Website or GitHub (if applicable)
2. Demo Image
Submit a demonstration image that clearly illustrates the before-and-after results of your analysis tool. The image should present the tool’s performance through side-by-side comparisons of raw and analyzed images, accompanied by a summarized result table.
Specifications & Layout structure:
- Resolution: 96 dpi
- File size: ≤ 1 MB
- Image dimensions :
- Section A: 1500 × 1000 pixels (width × height)
- Section B: 1500 × 750 pixels (width × height)
- Layout structure:
- Section A: Raw Image (750 px), Analyzed Image (750 px), and Result Table (full width, 250 px height)
- Section B: Raw Image (500 px), two Analyzed Images (500 px each), and Result Table(full width, 250 px height)
3. Submission Document (in Word Format)
The document must include the following sections along with your demo image:
- Title–The name of your tool.
- Table (see section 4 below for content)
- Introduction – Overview of the tool and its motivation
- Examples – The description of examples image
- Description – Detailed explanation of the tool’s design
- Instruction – Basic usage instructions or required setup
- Acknowledgements – Credit to collaborators, funding, etc.
- References – Cited literature or related work
4. Information Table
Include an information table in your Word document containing the following:
